It’s technically illegal to sell region free DVD and Blu-ray players in the US. So even if I learned Japanese fluently, payed 80 bucks for ten episodes of Maskman, guess what. I’m still outside the law.

Japanese Blurays are in the same region as the US,but not dvds. So it’s okay to import Blurays, but not dvds? This makes no sense.full

Some stupid tropical depression is being my way. If it can divert out of my way like it did with the last storm it would be great

I’ve been under a hurricane twice, once when I was a baby and another three years ago. If you’re barricaded enough, then get ready for a night of heavy wind, rain pelting down and the occasional noise of fences getting ripped off.

Boy that’s sounds scary. I’d probably evacuate when evacuation orders were put into place. The worse I’ve been though was high winds form a thunderstorm (note I’ve been though this many times) and possible a weak Tornado when I was 8.

Oh!

I’m from a state that never seen hurricanes so we don’t have to worry about that but we do have to worry about tornadoes and flooding. We however have seen remnants of tropical systems reach our state.

Florida or somewhere near it, I’m guessing. Same situation here. As long as you don’t live on the beach like a dumbass you’re mostly fine. Live in the thick of the woods and you’ll barely even notice them. I mean you’ll notice the shit out of the power being out for two weeks but you can just sleep right through the storm no problem (what I did last two times).

I don’t get the beach dwellers. Every year or so they lose their homes and every year or so they’re on TV, crying about their lost home and how much it’s going to cost to rebuild. As if they didn’t fucking know. As if hurricanes are a new phenomenon and a complete mystery to us.

My parents once said it’d be a dream live somewhere tropical so we’d mot have to worry about snow winter but things like hurricanes would probably be hard for us since living somewhere in the upper Midwest doesn’t require hurricane preparedness.

If California wasn’t run by Marxists who infested the state with homelessness (almost half of all homeless in the whole US live in California), bubonic plague, leprosy, AIDS, drug cartels, and a cost of living so high that only millionaires can afford to live there, I’d drop everything I was doing and move to San Diego in a heartbeat (well, after the pandemic is over). The weather is perfect.
