Just had an anachronistic dream. I am leaving my high school for the last time (more than 10 years ago). The principal asks me to exterminate a herd of mammoths (5 million to 4000 years ago) that has wandered into the city. I have managed to sneak a pistol past the school, but it is obviously not enough. The exit of the school is in a forest where there are many Propalaeotherium (56 million to 48 million years ago). _*Propalaeotherium was a small equid (horse family), ranging from 30–60 cm at the shoulder (2.9 to 5.9 hands), and weighing just 10 kg (22 lb)._

As I get further from the school, the sun sets. I realise there is no reason for me to take the risk of going after the mammoths, so I take a bus home. Once I reach my room, someone bursts through the door and gives me a colourful toy mouse, like for a cat.
