It was supposed to be twilight, but I forgot the horn. I felt too lazy to change it, so have derpy with alternative hairstyle.
 
How did this improve so much above the first one? I used a different technique to create this pic. Instead of just coloring the crappy “sketch”, I straightened it in inkscape and then colored it in gimp. I also added some pseudo colored lines and shading. Of course, it took MUCH longer, but it was worth it.
 
I’m not quite satisfied yet, so the series will continue.
