Hi, Derpibooru! I’m B.J. Dazzle, and this was my first submission for Equestria Daily’s 7th Artist Training Grounds! I’ve been silently following the pony fan community for years now, but I finally decided to participate in one of these.
 
I like to draw cartoon and conceptual stuff in my free time a lot, occasionally pony-related, though not often, and I’m hoping by practicing in this event I can improve my skills, refine my style, and gain feedback in a more public venue. Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions on ways I can improve over the course of the month! I’ll try to participate in as many of these as I can, but no promises that I’ll be able to submit for EVERY prompt.
 
Today’s prompt is Draw a pony standing / Draw a pony striking a pose. These events encourage having fun with the prompt and interpreting it in different ways, so I’ve got Rainbow Dash standing her ground as she strikes a pose, which in turn involves her striking a posing ponnequin with her hoof. I thought it was pretty clever! Now I’m looking forward to seeing this exact same idea in a dozen other submissions when the post goes up on EQD. And of course, I thought it appropriate to kick off this art event with the pegasus of many colors and “Artist the Horse” Rarity in the forefront.
