I dont think I have ever spent so much time on a MLP piece before. And this one took even longer, because I got a cold and couldnt sit up for very long to draw (even though thats all I wanted to do)
 
I think the thing I am most proud of is the background, I am not one for drawing backgrounds/scenery but I am really, really happy with this. Some thing about the MLP styled backgrounds and landscapes, I can do.
 
What I am least pleased with is the lighting/shading. Because I know that it doesnt really make sense unless we assume there is a glow or a fire coming from off screen some where. But I couldnt figure out how to shade it in a way that made more sense with the setting sun.
 
All in all I am still pretty pleased with the results. Hopefully next time I wont get sick in the middle of a drawing project I am excited about.
