Been a while since I last made an illustration for the Roan RPG Project, same with sharing one of my contributions. The finished book is out in physical and digital copies, check the site for more details. The details for an additional monster manual is in the working where things like this appear.

Among my creature sketches for the monster chapter I had sketched up some insectoid flutterponies, and was asked if I could make more with those. Finally got around to it and although rather simple I don’t think it turned out that bad. The original sketches got coloured by someone else since I didn’t had the time to do it myself at the time. I just designed as many creatures and monsters I could think of for them to choose between. Sketches and concepts I haven’t shared all of here on dA, those are for the book itself ;)
I used the colour scheme this one had been given by the other artist, ’cuz why not? I like how it turned out, especially the wings and eyes.

Just something simple and cute, from the Roan universe.
