And I’m sure she’s excelent at it.
 
This one took quite the bit of effort! But it was worth it. This is actually drawn for EqD’s Future Ponies open art event. Originally I was thinking of drawing a group shot of all of the future ponies, but the announcement yesterday indicated there was only a day left for submissions, so I decided simply to draw a future Dashie. Honestly I’m not entirely upset about that, though, haha. But I may still do a group shot in the future, perhaps, as a kind of tribute to the ending of the show.
 
So yeah, I put quite a bit of time and care into this one. And it was a bit of an emotional time to draw as well, honestly, haha. Our ponies are all grown up, huh? Honestly it’s really heartwarming just how far they’ve all come, and how a lot of them truly achieved their goals just as Lauren Faust herself envisioned … it’s incredible this little show about little ponies has come this far and meant so much.  
Also, seriously, I absolutely love Rainbow Dash’s future design. Her with a mane-style akin to Spitfires and her jacket, she just looks so awesome. I hope my tribute to the design does it justice, because I like it a lot. And that mane style is pretty fun to draw! If a little tricky xD All-in-all I am pretty happy with how it came out in the end. And even decided to try add a bit of shading; hopefully it’s not too subtle, haha.
 
Still partially surreal that the show has come to an end … but it’s not truly the end. As Dashie herself said, it’s not just an end of an era, it’s also “the beginning of an even more awesome era!” So here’s to the future! Here’s to much more pony content in the future, official and fan! And here’s to a long life to the fandom itself! /)
