Just something I felt like drawing. I like the idea of reformed Tempest being like a bodyguard to Twilight or general protector of Ponyville who maybe lives in her castle hehe. So maybe princess Twilight Sparkle’s court has one knight now? XD

I simply chose to go for a more “magic form” to it than a crystal one.
 
 
Shame I couldn’t really do a full-body one but that will be a lot of work. If I ever draw her again I’d love to keep this armour on her.  
And yes, don’t know if this is what TJ was trying to go for but I definitely liked the idea of a “reformed manestyle” for her like Starlight has, and this one having a few “twilight”-ish elements to it haha
 
I really wanted them to be standing on a balcony of Twi’s castle but the only pics I could find were ones that had Twilight standing on it haha.  
So I just went for her entrance hall.

p.s. I don’t think Tempest having a broken horn is “bad” or wrong in any way, and I like that the end moral of the movie was “you’re pretty great the way you are” and not “you need to be fixed to be okay”. But even so, if given the option to use a magical prosthetic like this, I think she definitely has the right to use one. It’s her choice, and all it really is doing is focusing her already powerful magic. Also it looks more regal X3  
Would she really be against putting the “broken and jagged” persona she had behind her? I think it represents her coming to terms with her true self pretty well.
