Alright here is a sample of what Chrysalis looks like as a teen and I’m gonna give my opinion on the changeling’s ageing process. Long story short, since the changelings are a type of bug, I suppose they do the cocoon stage since I never notice anyone having any info on their ages. So to me at somepoint in their life they form a cocoon and then hatch into the next state of age: egg, baby, kid, teen, adult, elder. And that not just that their appearance changes but their personality as well, for example: The Queen could have been a kind gentle Princess but then once hatched into her adult state, a determined evil like Queen that will do anything for her people. Of course the personality changing while in the cocoon state is different and might be affected based on events that happened before hand that can easily have an effect on the changeling. Of course, it’s just an opinion.

Alright so, Chrysalis here is a young teenager right here, and she is at current moment: Shy, honest, playful and all that sweet and innocent stuff. She is currently being mentored by Uncle Oji(my changeling Oc), who in my universe, is the one who watches over all the young queens before and after they become queens of their hives. As of this moment, Chrysalis is not very good at it, from my perspective Chrysalis was one of those hatchlings that didn’t exactly form their exoskeleton all the way which explains why she has those neck things and not one and why her leg holes are so small(she was slightly deformed in a way, not fully developed). Not only that but she has a hard time producing her changelings, so her hive can easily be over runned without the protection of Uncle and his changelings. So the young Princess only has half a hoof of young changelings that have the capability to nurse/protect her eggs.

Lastly Chrysalis has two changelings with her at all times who she considers her brothers(they were the first ones she laid). Fang who is the little brother who can easily cheer her up when she is down, and Captain who is tough and very protective of his older sister and will die for her if necessary. These two changelings are always with her, whenever and wherever.
