Description

I drew this to go with a poem I wrote, written below.

So softly does the moon sigh,
As she slowly climbs up the sky.
Her gentle light as it shines whispers,
It’s time to rest,
It’s time to lay,
Tomorrow is another day.
And what a day,
The moon thinks,
For her sister shall light the way
As her pale rays does beyond the horizon sink.
For now the stars shall shine and twinkle,
A solemn companion upon the black blanket,
Under which everyone doth sleep.
Tomorrow is another day,
Another time for play,
For when sisters sun burns bright and warm,
Nary does a foal feel forlorn.
But when the sun must go to bed,
And everypony lays their head,
Who shall the moon’s company keep?
When down below, everything sleeps.
This quiet question
That has no answer
The moon shall always banter.
Who is mine and I am whose?
The stars shall shine,
But they have no reply.
