No she isn’t fuzzy, she is a nylon plastic with a slight grain to her, making blush ups much easier.

Exactly that, ball jointed. With strong cord that runs through her body she is more pose-able then your average doll. Usually made from resin, mine are created via 3d printing in a nylon plastic. These dolls are quite popular and originated in Japan/China with the volks company. Dolls generally go from 100-1000$ with the average being around 500$ they come in all sorts of sizes but are generally in the 40-60cm tall range.
