“I recently ran across the work of Duo Cartoonist on YouTube. I had seen their “Lullaby for a Princess” animation (which is amazing), and had seen them mentioned on Equestria Daily, but hadn’t entirely explored their repertoire. However, when I listened to their original songs that had been created for their unfortunately cancelled fan movie. “Choices”, I absolutely fell in love with them. I just love the idea of a young Luna trying to find fun things to do during her nightly patrol, staving off her loneliness, while also getting into a healthy dose of mischief like any reasonable young princess would.
 
This is also one of my first forays into more intense lighting and shading. The art of shading has always made about as much sense to me as quantum physics, no matter how much I try to understand it. So this is a little new for me.”
