The point of this pic is my headcanon for Cadance is, while she’s a master at the emotional side of love, she’s probably one of the least experienced ponies when it comes to the physical side. Her only experience with sex has been with her husband, and she’s only ever done missionary. Not that she doesn’t know of other positions exist, she’s just too innocent to try them. Even something as simple as doggy style is too extreme, and out there for her, and the thought of doing anything that extreme embarrasses her to no end.
 
And seeing other people naked? It took her long enough to get used to seeing Shining in his birthday suit, let alone being comfortable with him seeing her nude. You’re just not supposed to see other ponies without clothes on! It’s just too embarrassing! She never even used to change in front of other students during school. She had to get special permission from her gym teacher to let her change in his office while he stood guard.
 
Well it was Cadance’s Birthday, and Shining’s gift was to try to help break her out of her shell. Even if just a little bit. While he did find her getting so flustered at the simplest things absolutely adorable, he’d by lying if he said he didn’t crave something a little more fulfilling when it came to their sexy times. So, with the help of Twilight, and one queen of the changelings (it’s okay, they made up), he made plans for a very, special night. You see, not only did the siblings take each others V-card, they’ve regularly hooked up throughout the years. Twilight was very familiar with what Shining enjoyed during sex. Hell, she’s the one who loved to test his boundaries. And Chrysalis has been with many ponies during her hunts for love, and has done more than her fair share of kinky things. So who better to help Cadance open up more.
 
He’d also be lying if he said he wouldn’t mind spending the night with that sexy, black, minx, but that’s neither here nor there. The point was she was here to help Cadance out with her problems right. Him being able to finally tap that honey pot was just a huge bonus.
 
At least, that was the thought process that went through Shining’s head.
 
But there was one, small flaw in his plans.
 
One, TINY issue that Shining forgot about
 
He forgot to tell Cadance.
 
Both he and Twilight knew damn well that Cadance would freak out about this situation if she wasn’t properly warned ahead of time. So Shining was supposed to let her know what was going on, hoping that the promise of her getting to feel completely, sexually fulfilled would be convince her to say yes.
 
But when she was pushed into the room, clad only in her underwear by an underwear clad Changeling who was carrying her dress, she froze in place. Chrysalis tossed the dress onto the floor before undoing her own bra as both Shining and Twilight looked on. When they both saw her reaction, Shining knew he MAY have forgotten that very important step.
 
Could you really blame him, though?
 
The thought of finally getting sexually fulfilled, himself, was something he just couldn’t pass up.
