hehehe well I completely 180ed it from the EP I expected. Ok this was one weird but satisfying comic at the same time. I was really hoping to get a clip of the 2 heads of the feuding pony families before putting this comic out but we didn’t get it until the EP actually aired so in a sense…..Semi-random OC ponies I had to make up for this one. I kind of like my versions over the show’s. ;P We’ll call these guy random family ponies from each side. :P Muffin hidden as usual.
 
 
So put it lightly….this I swear is oddly ironic how I sometimes have seen the fandom behave over the last 4 1/2 years when it comes to who they think is best princess and whatever. :P Strangely this was one of the easier EPs in S5 on the direction I wanted to take this comic. :) The bad part….the damn background. I initially wanted to put this in a house type setting but I completely scrapped that about 1/4 of the way into the first BG panel I started which was panel 2. I realized an outdoor BG would be much easier to portray and also I didn’t have a true direction on the indoor BG as much as I thought going into the comic. :faint: Needless to say it’s kind of a minor miracle I was able to completely overhaul my original idea on a BG and make a brand new concept on the fly cause by then the color/lineart was already down. I don’t like doing that. :P
 
 
Anyway hope you guys liked this comic. I swear though if anyone knows the original idea for this EP….I strongly suggest you read up on the Hatfield and McCoy fued. It was really bloody and is kind of engraved in post-civil was U.S. history. Did anyone ever watch the History Channel series with Bill Paxton and Kevin Cosgrove on the fued? It came out in 2012….it was absolutely amazing and won numerous award. Extremely accurate to the real fued. Anyway…2 more EPs left….then I can move into off-season comics.
