In that picture, Shining Armor broke up contact with Twilight Sparkle because she was all for The Squad helping innocent ponies from having their lives destroyed by either the horseflies, Cherry Blossom’s anti-Earth pony army and the G.F.P.S. The reason for this is because he has publicly called The Squad a terrorist Group, because the two stallions that he hates the most; King Sombra and Smash Gamer are members.
 
When Princess Cadence found out about this, she became furious and confronted her husband on his actions! Because she believed that a family should stick together, even if the members disagree with each other on political reasons. After all, an oppinion doesn’t deny an entire pony. Why should we reduce complex individuals to just a single thought they may have?
