Raven is definitely channeling captain Kirk here. I was really surprised to see how quickly people gave up as soon as Trixie waltzed in, before the authenticity of the Alicorn Amulet was even confirmed. Until the previous comic, for all anyone knew, she chould have been trying to bluff herself in with a convincing cosplay prop. (I’d never do that as that’d be a betrayal of trust, unless the amulet had a very conspicious “made in China”-tag on it or something.)

The way I balanced the encounter with Trixie is that I figured she’d have no battle plan whatsoever, cus in her mind she’s already won and don’t need one, but judging by the responses, (or as an old paintball-head once put it “they think tactics are a brand of breath-mint.”) But I think I forgot to communicate this fact until now, my bad!
