I know this doesn’t look as professional as most OCs, but I don’t care cause I know I did my best with what I had to work with. And let me tell you, this was very hard to recolor, especially her shoes. But anyways, here’s my OC, the mischievous hypnotist Golden Spiral.

Golden Spiral (better known as Goldie) is a 16-year-old student at Canterlot High with a very special talent: she is a master hypnotist. Ever since she was young, she has been fascinated with the concept of placing a person in a deep state of relaxation and making them do whatever she wants. It also helped that her late grandfather was a renowned stage hypnotist in Canterlot. After taking several psychology classes (and watching dozens of instructional videos online), she had essentially perfected her craft by age 9. All she needs to get her subject to focus on her shiny gold pocket watch (an heirloom from her grandfather) and guide them into a hypnotic sleep. However, she prefers to use her skills to make her own life much easier. Whether it be hypnotizing a teacher into bumping up her grade to an A or making one of the cheerleaders give her a back rub, no one is safe from Goldie’s influence. Despite this, however, she maintains a positive reputation by offering a public hypno-therapy business for anyone who needs it. While she enjoys hypnotizing anyone she can at her school, her favorite targets are Sunset Shimmer and her friends. She believes that the seven friends have had it easy for far to long and likes to show that their not above everyone else when it comes to some things. From hypnotizing Twilight Sparkle into doing her homework to hypnotizing Rarity into making her a dress for free to hypnotizing Fluttershy into acting like a cat, Goldie loves to mess with the girls in any way she can think of. Despite her actions, however, Goldie is still a kind, fun-loving teenager who is quick to make friends with anyone she meets. Her non-hypnosis related hobbies included singing, swimming, stand-up comedy, and reading Daring Do, a passion she shares with her best friend, Juniper Montage. She is also a bit mischievous and likes to pull a practical joke every once and a while, though they usually involve hypnotizing somebody. Goldie currently lives alone with her cat Violet in apartment B45 at the Golden Oak apartment complex after a massive fight with her widowed mother when she was 13.  
Additional Notes:  
-Favorite ice cream flavor is Neapolitan  
-Lived with Juniper and her family for a year before moving into Golden Oaks when she was 14  
-Doesn’t need to pay rent on her apartment because she hypnotized the landlady into letting her live there for free when she first moved in  
-Participates in the CHS talent show each year as Golden Spiral: Mistress of the Mind.  
-Has a ‘movie night sleepover’ with Juniper every Saturday  
-Is Bisexual. She has had a crush on Rarity since 7th grade and likes to hypnotize the fashionista into thinking she’s her girlfriend  
-Prefers to be barefoot most of the time. Whenever she goes out in public, she compensates by wearing sandals or open-toed heels.  
-Her father died when she was 12 and her mother started drinking shortly after, which is why she and Goldie fought and why Goldie move out. Neither of them have made any effort to contact each other since  
-Often practices her hypnosis skills on Juniper. Juniper doesn’t mind as the two girls have an agreement that prevent Goldie from making Juniper do anything she doesn’t want to do.  
-Tells her hypno-therapy clients that their sessions are free of charge, but she actually makes them give her at least $400 in cash while their still hypnotized  
-Her hypno-therapy business has very flexible hours as she only takes clients when she feels like it.  
-Mainly gets money from Juniper’s uncle, Canter Zoom, who graciously gives her a $2000 loan once a month. Goldie uses this for things like groceries, cat food and toys for Violet, school supplies, or personal shopping sprees.  
-Considers her cat, Violet, to be one of her best friends and confides in her as well.  
-Currently teaching Juniper hypnosis. Juniper was actually once successful in making Goldie act like a chicken.  
-Is secretly jealous of Sunset Shimmer’s popularity and has contemplated hypnotizing her into being evil again.
