So! More screenshots from my ongoing ponification of FF1, posted here for no reason other than I feel like it!
 
Although I did say there was no need to change the text much, here I’ve changed it anyway. Go figure. I didn’t originally intend to use any canon characters but I changed my mind about that too, so here’s Celestia.
 
She doesn’t look like herself much, though. She looks more like a younger Celestia or something. I blame myself, and palette limitations(every npc in any given room must have the same colors), but mostly myself. Also it’s still a WIP so she can and will change.
 
And yeah, that is the entirety of the dialogue when you first talk to her. I might change what exactly she’s saying but the King originally only gave you one speech balloon of info too and I’m keeping this as simple as possible to be faithful to the original.
