Shining Armor! Shining Armor, where are you? cried his mother.
Shining Armor knew how upset she and his father got whenever he wandered off, but the little colt was beyond curious. Where is that unusual glowing coming from?
He was at this cave just the other day and he didnt see a thing.
Just before he reached the spot where the glowing seemed to be coming from, the entire cave lit up.
The light blinded Shining Armor. He had to duck down.
After awhile he pulled apart his hooves to find that the cave was dark again. The glowing still continued. The light was a very bright turquoise color and the way it made the cave light up reminded Shining Armor of the crystals in his dads museum. He finally built up the courage to look behind the corner and found that the glowing was coming from a pony.
It was a pink filly with a highlighted mane. She seemed to be about his age. The light was coming from beneath her and it swept over her face like blue flames. At first glance, Shining Armor thought she was just a pegasus, but then he noticed the horn atop her head. This was a princess pony!
Hello? Shining Armor asked, are you okaywhoever you are
Ooooohmama, is that you?
No, Im Shining Armor, he said. Who are you?
The alicorn filly suddenly sprang to life. The light beneath her stopped and the cave became pitch black.
Aaugh! Help! Help me! the filly shouted in the dark.
Hold on, said Shining Armor. He concentrated as hard as he could and suddenly the room was illuminated by the magenta light of his horn. There! Its okay. Youre just in a cave, not in danger.
The filly stared at him and the cave questionably. Whats your name? What are you doing in here? Shining Armor asked.

Its a cave right outside the Canterlot park, Shining Armor said.
