The Summer Sun Celebration is subject to taking place upon Equestria’s highest mountains, to its lowest of valleys as tradition dictates. Tucked away in the throes of hillside sunshine and bountiful crops of all kinds, sits the quietly bustling village of Ponyville. The shining star of this little corner of Equestria was without a doubt Sweet Apple Acres, aptly tended to by the Apple Family. Upon this particular Summer Sun Celebration, they had called all Apples far and wide across Equestria to aid in the catering.

The plan, once again as tradition had dictated, was simple. Harness up to the near-endless caravan of pastry and supply-filled wagons, and make their way to Sugarcube Corner before sundown to aid the Cake Family in their own preparations. However, things won’t go exactly as they plan when an entire pack of Timberwolves suddenly emerge from the brush to steal anything and everything they can from the unsuspecting ponies! Applejack and Big Macintosh give chase as poor Applebloom is swept away into the Everfree by an Alpha Timberwolf, only to find out that they aren’t the only ones that were stolen from!
