Rarity needed help adapting to being an Abyssinian. She had gone through a bit of a growth spurt, making most of her pony outfits too small to wear. This was a major blow to Rarity since she had brought most of these outfits for the trip.

Another major issue was her lack of magic. Since Abyssinians don’t have horns like unicorns do, Rarity had to work with her new paws. Unfortunately, the stabbing pain in her paw pad was proof that she was going to need more practice. And probably some bandages, too.

Lastly, there was her new diet. Now that she was a carnivore, Rarity’s cravings turned more towards seafood or, in this case, poultry. She had to make sure her poor friend Fluttershy didn’t hear about it.

All of it was almost too much for Rarity to take in. Thankfully, Capper was there to help calm her down with some time to themselves. Although she expected using tongues for grooming would be gross which, to be fair, it kind of was, it did help the former pony calm down after her culture shock. The purring sounds she made was proof of that.
