Busy Airwaves is a 41 year old unicorn mare born and raised in Dazzledell Hollow, who works as the Head DJ for the local radio station, DHR94.5. Well regarded as a well-read mare of intelligence and ironclad integrity, she mostly runs the station’s Breakfast Show, and covers for other shows when required.
Physically, she is in good, if not quite perfect health, having long term issues stemming from an accidental episode of almost total magical burnout in her late teenage years that nearly killed her. Ms. Airwaves lost control of a very powerful defensive shield spell, unfortunately, resulting in extensive and permanent thaumatic damage.
This magical “scarring” has left her dealing with phantom pains and random waves of migraines and nausea which she treats with prescription potions as supplied by the local General hospital. Additionally, she is very fastidious regarding her personal hygiene as she is prone to skin infections. This is NOT to an obsessive-compulsive level.
Additionally, her magic, despite her once being of the Alumni of Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns, is now too weak for all but the most basic of spells, and even repeated use of these can leave her exhausted and wracked with migraines.
Thus for the most part, she lives simply as an earth pony, rarely using magic unless she absolutely has to. Ms Airwaves briefly demonstrated her telekinetic magic for our agent, and it was noted that her magical aura was a dim and flickering shade of pale blue in colour, similar to her eyes.
Smart, streetwise, well educated, and polite to a fault, Busy Airwaves is a popular mare around the sleepy town of Dazzledell Hollow, and tends to attract fans whenever she is about. She is never disrespectful, never unpleasant, and always appreciative of the attention that she receives.
When it comes to more personal matters, Busy Airwaves is heterosexual, and rarely enters into a relationship because she wishes to focus on her career. Because of the thaumatic damage she received in her youth, she cannot have foals of her own, but isn’t really bothered by it.
However, sometimes she does indulge in short flings or one night stands specifically to blow off some steam, but again, these are occasional as she doesn’t have an especially high sex drive. She remains unbothered by the species of potential partners, like many mares in Equestria.
Ms. Airwaves is apparently quite the lover of the more sensual things in life, candlelit bedrooms, sandalwood incense, massages with essential oils, subtle, expensive perfumes- the list goes on. She is also a notable cuddler, and loves to be close to those that she cares about.
