Rosa Bloom is a 23 year old earth pony mare who was born and raised in Dazzledell Hollow, and now runs the local florist shop after inheriting it from her late grandmother. Known to be knowledgeable and polite, but standoffish- she keeps things professional, just how she likes it.
Rosa is neuro-divergent and prefers to live apart from other ponies for the most part, and absolutely hates being the centre of attention. Notably, it is very rare to see Rosa wearing clothes of any kind, apart from an old and well worn pale blue hoodie that she will use during the cooler winter months. She does have a single golden hoop earring in her right ear- a gift from her grandmother that she cherishes deeply.
It is noted that Rosa is prone to introspection when alone and not busy with a task of some kind, and can unintentionally lose hours to this. She can also be rather pensive and prone to irrationally worrying about things she has no control over.
She owns a fairly large detached cottage on the edge of town with extensive flower gardens, which is where she grows much of her stock. More exotic blooms are ordered in specially when required. The interior of her home, while clean, is somewhat cluttered with mementos she has picked up over the years.
Physically, Rosa is far smaller than average for an adult earth pony mare, and as a result of her more sedentary lifestyle, she is a little overweight for her diminutive frame- most of that to be found around her hindquarters. However, Rosa loves the way she looks, and couldn’t care less about the opinions of others in that regard.
She stands at 3 feet and 4 inches tall, or approximately 102 centimetres, and 42.5 pounds, or almost 19.28 kilogrammes in weight. Rosa does not smoke, drink alcohol, or take drugs of any kind.
She has been described, rather unceremoniously, as being a “shut-in nerd with a penchant for comic books, movies, and video games,” and while this is partially true, she can and does socialise with a few close friends, often on a Friday night.
When it comes to more personal matters, Rosa is pansexual, but has been rather unlucky in matters of the heart, and hasn’t had a long term relationship at this point. The species of a potential partner does not bother her in the slightest, but regardless of that, a prospective suitor needs to truly understand her and her needs.
