I just remembered that 2k also has/had an ink bunny account, though you would need your own account to access her stuff. I’ve considered making one myself, and this might just be the impetus to do it.
@FeatherTrap
I don’t know anything about that particular artist other than the fact that she uploaded it yesterday as one of two YCH commissions with a limited availability window, which would imply that she just wants to pump a few out and move on. It was most likely ordered and created this month.
I doubt he or 2k are still hanging around here, given how they made a clean break with this site. They’re somewhere on Discord, though where exactly I wouldn’t know.
@Twiface
I gathered it was posted recently, I just want to know the artists upload schedule. Like you just said: it is an assumption, I’ve had commissions done from artists that upload as soon as it goes gold, while others can wait weeks or months to upload.
…shit now you’ve got me wondering if any of the anons on this site are actually Lurker!Acres. If he is, I hope he sees the posts of support and realises we miss him.
I mean, I wouldn’t say no to it, I just never really spoke with her so I’m not going to pretend I did. I mean, I was never a “2k Simp” during the Shid contest now, was I? >.<
@FeatherTrap
It was posted on Twitter yesterday morning, then on Derpibooru shortly afterward.
Now this is just an assumption (based on my own experiences), but most artists publish their work soon after finishing it, and it’s unusual for an artist to sit on a finished commission for more than a few days, especially if it didn’t take long to create (like this YCH sketch)
The commissioner is listed as “someone from Discord,” which means he’s still around but trying to remain anonymous.
I’m just glad to see that he hasn’t entirely quit the fandom.
@Twiface
Unless this was first commissioned a while, while back…can we confirm what the artist’s upload schedule and/or turnover rate for a job is? That might give us a better estimate of just how recently this was made, if it can’t have been longer then a month, we have confirmation of lurker Acres.
…man this picture just stirs old heartaches and melancholy. Please come back m8, we miss you. :’c
Adán: Hopefully, Acres is somewhere nice, with big open fields to run and play in, being fed sugar cubes all day and getting his mane and tail brushed lovely by some caring human being.
Anon: Acres isn’t a real horse, HE’S A HUMAN BEING!!
Adán: I meant what I said and I said what I meant.
I want Acres back but not 2k tbh. Her (?) site management was awful.
I prefer e621 myself. Easier to navigate and you don’t need an account to view 90% of the content.
Haven’t been there in a while.

This piece took him like a day and a half to draw btw.

So they must still be around somewhere…
