After only a moment’s hesitation, the Bat threw her head back and swallowed hard, the wiggling, squirming, screaming prey sliding smoothly down her throat. It lingered at the base of her neck for just a moment, before one last gulp sent it fully into her body, its muffled cries disappearing along with it. Her stomach growled, happily receiving its prize. She let out a satisfied breath, patting her belly softly, before scanning for a place to rest while her meal digested.
