Hey everyone,
Welcome to another instalment of the “Randoms” project, wherein I redesign a random character from my roster and give them a little lore.
And today, my friends, it is the turn of Golden Fields!

This sturdy and solid 27 year old earthpony mare is a friend and colleague of Harvest Festival, working as a farmhoof at the latter mare’s aunt’s farm located just outside Dazzledell Hollow. She was born on a large island near Trottingham, and has the Equestrian equivalent of an Irish accent.
Notably strong, and with a huge amount of stamina, even the backbreaking work of a farmer isn’t enough to really tire her out- and she rarely even gets ill at all.
While typically specialised in working with wheat or barley, Goldie is known as a dependable employee who likes to volunteer for the hardest and dirtiest tasks imaginable, and this very trait has earned her a LOT of respect, and quite a few friends too.
She is a quiet and friendly mare who likes to drink a couple of pints of stout after a hard day’s work at the farm, and will often be found doing just that at the local bar with a few close friends in the evening.
Goldie is a heterosexual xenophile, single, and specifically interested in human men above any other option for a partner. Almost desperate, even. Upon meeting a man she likes the look of, the attached image is her typical reaction- blushing furiously, grinning nervously, and rather giddy with excitement.
Her friends, we are told, find this rather amusing, and tease her about it endlessly, but more importantly, good-naturedly.
