OBS always acts funky when I start recording PT, hence the black screen at the beginning. Video starts at 0:13.
Upon suddenly appearing in Equestria after a great battle, a young Ryouma Nagare is saved from the treacherous waves of the sea between Fillydelphia and Griffonstone. The humble sea-faring griffon responsible, who goes by the name of “Steinbach Goodfeather,” employs the lad for his astounding strength, and staggering martial-arts mastery. However, this strength would truly be put to the test on the night of her majesty’s fateful return.
Her Night Mages could not invade Ryouma’s dreams like the others. He was a threat, and he was to be dealt with post-haste. Nightmare Moon commands her three Elite to subdue and kill the Diamond Dog, but in turn, are slain themselves. With his dying breath, the last soldier called out for his ruler, and so too did she answer with swift fury. Where three lives were taken by Ryouma, another would be taken as atonement. Nightmare Moon saw to it that poor Steinbach would sail no more, igniting an unfathomable rage within the already easy-to-anger Diamond Dog.
Giving chase to the Castle of The Two Sisters, Ryouma would not let his friend’s death be in vain. But lo, for her majesty has employed many a trick and trap to halt the dog on his journey. Thankfully, he is not alone! The Mane 6, along with Ryouma’s trusted Pilot comrades Musashi and Hayato, are here to have his back! (Not to mention Trixie, but she’s more in it for the Payment rather than the heroics, respectfully.)
Take on some familiar faces from MLP’s G1, G4, and Getter Robo’s G1 in “Getter Robo : EXO!” A Pizza Tower Total-Conversion Mod!
McGee’s Gab Corner :
PHEW! Talk about a lot of work, but man has it been worth it! The finalized intro is here in all its glory!
Now, of course Nightmare Moon isn’t going to employ these characters in the comic once I drop it, but I figured showing some of the characters that I’m going to include along the way might garner a bit more interest.
So of course, we have our Boss Lineup, but one stands out among the others, doesn’t he? The Vigilante has been replaced by none other than the notorious Jack King from Getter Robo. Both Jack and his sister Mary pilot America’s shining-star Super-Robot, aptly named “Texas Mac.” Jack and Ryouma constantly butt-heads in the series, a wayward “Pipe down, Japanese Mountain-Monkey,” always being met with a stark “Bite me, you slop-mouthing Yankee.” It’s only fitting that the Cowboy and the Martial-Artist clash once again here.
There’s plenty of little blips and inconsistencies that need to be corrected, and I’ll be doing those on the second pass once the full mod has been “completed.”
As always, you know I love to hear from you all. Tell me about your headcanons, what you’d think certain characters would do in certain situations, the whole shebang!
