When Giant Ponies and Creatures Attack - Episode 8 - Night Glider, Seoul’s Biggest Nightmare
Summary: Twilight Sparkle and her friends fight against a giant evil Night Glider in Seoul, South Korea. Rainbow Dash also calls the Wonderbolts during the battle.
Having saved New York, Twilight Sparkle and her friends restored freedom for all the citizens in the city. The next day, unfortunately, was becoming a nightmare elsewhere around the city. Eventually, in Seoul, South Korea, a giant pegasus pony named Night Glider attacked the city, terrorizing the citizens.
Night Glider laughed evilly as she fired laser beams from her eyes, destroying buildings in her path as she kept on stomping, shaking the ground with each and every step she took. Her eyes are red, and it means she is evil.
“Who says you can run away from a big pony like me?!” Night Glider laughed again, as she kicked a building with her hoof, making it collapse.
Citizens ran for their lives as the evil giant Night Glider continued approaching them more quicker not so far away. Night Glider could only watch the buildings burn and the city collapsing.
At this time, Night Glider is beginning to become a nightmare for Seoul and its citizens.
“Run, she’s gonna kill us!” A man shouted before he resumed running away in fear from the giant pegasus pony that was targeting them.
Night Glider simply let out a smirk at the humans. Her large size would give her an easier chance catching up with the tinies as she laughed maniacally as the tinies feared her as the worst nightmare the city has ever imagined at this time.
“I will get you little humans!” Night Glider told the tinies, crushing and destroying buildings in her way as she was on her way killing the tinies and make them suffer so much pain.
“Hurry! She’s getting closer!” Another man yelled, ordering everyone to run faster as quick as they all could before Night Glider may stomp on any them flat, leaving them like a pancake or leaving them dead.
“Where’s the military? Where are the police officers?” A woman worried.
Night Glider, upon hearing the question, responded, “Sadly, I have wiped out the military and all the police officers before they could even try and save you! And now that there’s no soldiers or police officers that can protect you, it means that help is basically hopeless and I have the better chances killing you all!”
The people continued running and screaming as the evil giant pony still was on the run and that she would erase the humans from existence. However, one man wearing a light blue spider-web shirt and blue jeans tripped himself.
The man turned around and looked back at Dark Night Glider, who is in killing mood and make him as her first target.
“No, go away! Leave this city alone!” The man angrily threw his right shoe at Night Glider, but the giant pegasus destroyed the shoe with her laser eye beam, leaving the man shocked as he was not any useful left saving the others from Night Glider rampaging throughout Seoul.
“Anything else before I destroy you completely?” Night Glider asked the man, as she grew bored already.
The man said nothing, and cowering himself away from the giant pegasus pony, now that he has only one shoe still and another one lost. Sadly, as he turned his back, Night Glider fired a laser at him directly, and he was destroyed for good, turned into dust.
Night Glider laughed really crazy, watching the man become nothing in the end.
“That’s one piece of trash gone.” Night Glider said, before she would finish her duty, which was killing all the humans in Seoul at this time.
Night Glider flapped her wings, bringing herself into the air despite being a giant. And in the air, Night Glider looked down at the tinies still running on the streets down below. The tinies soon saw Night Glider’s large shadow looming over them, making them stop and look at her, planning to wipe out the tinies from above.
“Okay, you pathetic worms. Try and dodge this!” Night Glider said as she would unleash a bigger attack that the tinies might not survive against.
The tinies reacted in horror as Night Glider prepares for a devastating blow.
“Run, she’s gonna make her attack!” A woman with black hair wearing a pink dress with sunflowers said, as she and the others started running for terror.
Just the right timing where her plan will succeed, Night Glider fired a super laser eye beam attack, which the laser was three times bigger. And the humans would know better because the laser was more dangerous at this size.
The incoming laser blast was coming right at the tinies, and it seemed like Night Glider killed them all, but soon she saw a pony deflecting it with a barrier, sending the laser another direction.
“What? How?!” Night Glider wondered why her laser attack bounced into a different rotation.
The pony who blocked the laser attack was Twilight Sparkle, the alicorn who would save the tinies and the world. But she’s not just the only heroine around. Her friends, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Fluttershy are also with her.
“That’s enough!” Twilight Sparkle told Night Glider, displaying an angry facial expression.
Night Glider cackled as she was far excited that she will destroy Twilight Sparkle and her friends next now that they have got in her way.
“You can stop laughing and start fighting us right now!” Applejack stomped her hoof on the ground, looking angry, too.
“Oh, do you believe you can handle the great and all powerful pegasus pony who is more bigger compared with you all?!” Night Glider asked, seeing the Mane Six nowhere being a problem. “Besides, you ponies can’t even keep with my powers!” She laughed again.
Night Glider fired a laser beam from her eyes, sending it towards Twilight Sparkle and her friends.
When Twilight Sparkle knew that the blast is coming at her and the others, Twilight Sparkle teleported her friends and herself into a different spot before the blast could touch them. Night Glider was angered, and yet shocked at the same time.
“You can’t fool me!” Night Glider was determined, knowing the tricks Twilight Sparkle was pulling on her. “I know that even if you are behind me, it’ll be useless pulling another trick!”
“How does she even know that we moved from one place to another?” Rarity wondered.
“Man, who cares about her sensing that we are sneaking behind her huge hooves?!” Rainbow Dash replied. “I have a surprise for this big pegasus pony that she won’t even understand until it arrives.”
Fluttershy was not really sure what Rainbow Dash meant when she said has something up her own hooves, which may distract Night Glider for some time.
“What do you mean?” Fluttershy asked Rainbow Dash.
“Just watch and then you’ll find out, Fluttershy!” Rainbow Dash replied, having her secret weapon ready and just in time.
Rainbow Dash does a whistle blow with her hooves, calling out the attention for a certain group she is familiar with.
Twilight Sparkle and her friends eventually looked up in the air, and they noticed that the Wonderbolts are coming down for help and they would give the Mane Six backup as Rainbow Dash calls for them at the perfect time.
“What do you know? Such perfect timing that the Wonderbolts make an appearance!” Pinkie Pie jumped with excitement, always happy seeing the Wonderbolts fly from above her.
The Wonderbolts came down nicely with a good proper landing. Spitfire, Misty Fly, Thunderlane, Fleetfoot and Soarin’ saw Rainbow Dash and her friends standing before them, and they all shook hooves with Rainbow’s hoof.
“Long time, no see, Rainbow Dash!” Spitfire hugged Rainbow Dash.
“Welcome to the right side, Spitfire. Oh, I’m glad they have gotten you back on the good side once again, just like how I was expecting for a while.” Rainbow Dash couldn’t help herself aside from seeing Spitfire reformed after a long time.
“I know, but it seems you and the rest are dealing with an enemy, am I right?” Spitfire asked.
Rainbow Dash nods her head in agreement, which makes Spitfire believe in her and so did the other Wonderbolts.
“Okay, you and the others can stay out of this while me and my fellow friends handle this giant pegasus pony enemy who is harming these humans in this city!” Fleetfoot told Rainbow Dash and her friends, suggesting they stay back for a while until the Wonderbolts can get the situation in control.
“And Twilight Sparkle, we will let you know when you can step in!” Soarin’ reminded Twilight Sparkle that she can only help when he and the other Wondrbolts find a way on how they can outsmart Night Glider.
“Got it!” Twilight Sparkle responded before she and her friends moved out the way.
The Wonderbolts have themselves standing in a proper position for battle against Dark Night Glider.
“Now then, we don’t know who you are, but you will be fighting against us, the Wonderbolts!” Thunderlane told Night Glider, raising his hoof up.
“This terror you’ve been causing towards these humans ends now!” Misty Fly said.
“And not one enemy shall ever get away it, especially you.” Spitfire spreads her wings having a brave look on her face as she was prepared for battle.
Night Glider laughed evilly, as she doesn’t believe that the five Wonderbolts can outclass her, even if she is big.
“Don’t make me laugh!” Night Glider said, feeling rather less satisfied from what she could’ve thought about. “Just because there’s five Wonderbolts doesn’t mean you will win! I’m still the biggest pony around this city!” She added.
“When we shut that mouth of yours, you won’t be saying anything else!” Thunderlane argued before he started flying around the giant evil Night Glider.
Night Glider was getting dizzy as Thunderlane spun around her, making her unable to attack.
Spitfire, Misty Fly, Soarin’ and Fleetfoot soon all charged at Night Glider, kicking her as a fatal blow, resulting her in losing some damage.
“That should hurt a little. Or perhaps much, I say.” Soarin’ told Spitfire while giggling, realizing that teamwork is courage and that giving the giant Night Glider some pain can kick out the loss Night Glider was suffering from.
“As long as we can find a way to put her down, we win!” Spitfire said.
“N-No… This… should not be possible!” Night Glider shouted in a rage, as she barely could get herself together and stand up clearly.
Things seem clear, so now the Wonderbolts need Twilight Sparkle finishing the job very fast before Night Glider tries and regain her stamina fully again. Only this alicorn princess from the good side can save the day as usual.
“Alright, Twilight Sparkle, you are up!” Misty Fly called out for Twilight’s name.
Twilight Sparkle started flying at full speed and she has herself ready to prepare for a super attack just for Night Glider. “Get ready for a super magic blast that will deal damage twice as hard as you can ever have!” She fired a bigger magic beam at Night Glider, hitting her in the chest with it.
“I can’t believe I’m losing…! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!” Night Glider yelled in pain before she started collapsing and fell to the ground.
As Night Glider was unconscious and eventually defeated, she began shrinking and reverted back to her normal size, and the darkness inside her was gone.
Twilight Sparkle and her friends and also the Wonderbolts all check in on Night Glider despite the fact she was still out cold.
“I’m glad we defeated her!” Rainbow Dash jumped and fly with excitement seeing that Night Glider is not on the dark side anymore.
“We may have free her from Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon’s control, but the two evil alicorns are still on the loose and they’ll search for more friends we have met, turning them into villains.” Fluttershy reminded her friends that both Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon are still somewhere around the real life world targeting more friends and allies of the Mane Six and make them villains like they are.
“She’s right, and they are not gonna stop.” Pinkie Pie said, vowing revenge one day that she and her friends can find the two evil corrupted alicorns that have been getting away with controlling her friends and turning them into antagonists.
Spitfire leans down and placed her hoof on Night Glider’s forehead.
“It’ll take a while until this pony can regain her consciousness, everyone.” Spitfire told the group, seeing that Night Glider will not wake up until the next couple days.
“And I suggest taking her to a hospital immediately.” Thunderlane said.
“But who’s gonna do it?” Rarity asked, looking confused over who can take Night Glider inside a hospital where she will fully wake up.
Fluttershy chooses herself as a volunteer, interested in search for a hospital around the city where Night Glider must rest in bed for the next few days until she finally wakes up.
“I’m happy to do the honor, girls!” Fluttershy told her friends.
“Now wait just a minute. You are gonna do this job?” Rainbow Dash curiously asked Fluttershy.
Shaking her head with a “yes” following Rainbow’s question, Fluttershy was shy, though she still could learn that a shy pony can get a job out the way.
While Fluttershy carefully picked up Night Glider and carried her to a nearby hospital, the others would stay still until she comes back. A few minutes later, Fluttershy returned and Night Glider is in the hospital.
“Now then, about Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon…” Twilight Sparkle said, resuming with the topic about the two evil alicorns responsible for taking control over all the friends so far at this point.
“Don’t worry, Twilight. Let us track them down! We got payback for what they’ve with the captain!” Fleetfoot said, as she and her fellow Wonderbolts have some words with Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon for what happened last time when they took control over Spitfire.
“And we will take down the all powerful and evil Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon with everything we have!” Spitfire said before she and the other Wonderbolts fly into the air and seek revenge for what the two evil alicorns have done to her.
Back with the Mane Six, who are looking at each other, not sure what they should do next.
“What are we gonna do?” Applejack asked, deciding what is the next thing they must do while the Wonderbolts are tracking down Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker.
Twilight Sparkle places a hoof underneath her chin, thinking on what she and her friends can do.
“Follow me and I will let you all know where we are heading.” Twilight Sparkle started walking and her friends walk behind her without saying a word.
The Mane Six visit Asan Medical Center, a hospital where Night Glider is sleeping for about one-two days. Inside, they entered a room where Night Glider is in, hoping she’s resting well.
“I just hope she can wake up soon.” Pinkie Pie is depressed over Night Glider.
“Don’t worry, Pinkie, she’s gonna be safe.” Twilight Sparkle comforted Pinkie Pie, placing her hoof around Pinkie’s neck.
“I really hope so…” Rarity said, having a feeling about Night Glider, hoping she can reawaken in the next few days.
The nightmare in Seoul may be over, but Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon still are on the run, and the Wonderbolts are tracking them down. With that in mind, the Mane Six decided they should stay in Seoul until Night Glider can open her eyes again.
Can the Wonderbolts stop the two evil alicorns before Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon get away with things yet again?
