Backstory: Contrary to what most ponies believe, Melody wasn’t always an Alicorn princess. She was born as a unicorn, and with the gift of magic, she was enrolled to Celestia’s School. However, she ended up being homeschooled after discovering that she had the ability to communicate with the paranormal, much to the shock of other ponies. She was more than just a clairvoyant, though, as she had a love and passion for music and arts. She earned her cutie mark after singing one of her favorite songs during a school play.

When Melody became a teenager, she moved to Ponyville for a fresh start. She was shy at first, and had trouble making friends, but with the help of Twilight Sparkle, she eventually made friends with Darby, Alyssa Rice, and Destiny Blood. During her friendship with the three ponies, she learned about ChenaBelle and Stella, and vowed to avenge her friends for it. She even helped her friends solve their problems (She helped Darby get over her fear of Elton John, she helped Alyssa out of the Mushroom Café to become a DJ, and she helped Destiny reunite with her father). Because she helped not just those three ponies, but also everypony else struggling with their destinies and dreams, Melody became an Alicorn princess.

She struggled being a princess at first because of the responsibilities that came with it, but thanks to Darby, she became adjusted to it. She even lives in Darby’s castle. Melody was even conflicted about what her role as a princess should be, but with the help of Darby, Alyssa, and Destiny, she realized she was meant to be the Princess of Dreams.

When not doing her roles as a princess, Melody can be seen travelling, walking through nature, or singing. She also dreams of having a boyfriend one day.

Here it is, my secondary ponysona, Melody Everbelle! She’s meant to be the happier version of Darby.

I’m not so sure if I want Melody to be my main MLP OC… But I’m not going to do that right now, because I’m not ready for it. Sweating a little…
