Pinkie Pie has received a letter from her family. One of her sisters is going to have a foal! When Pinkie decides to travel all the way home to the rock farm to visit, her friends wish to come with her. Little do they know that Pinkie’s native lands are going to put their survival skills and even their sanity to an unforgiving test…

As usual, Pinkie Pie felt the need to break the awkward silence with even more awkward noise. “Fillies and gentlecolts, THE BADLANDS! Population: lower than it was when I started this sentence. Our number one export: pyschopaths.”
With fluttering eyelashes, she added: “Did I mention I’m from the badlands?”
