Gelato Dolce is a 43 year old unicorn mare of Istallion descent, who now owns and operates a dessert restaurant, specialising in ice cream and cakes, which is located in the dockyard district of Manehattan. A popular venue for the local office staff in particular, Gelato’s place is a very successful business.
Physically, she is of average height and build for a unicorn mare, and is in perfect health at present. For a unicorn, Gelato has massive physical endurance, and though magically gifted, she far prefers to work with her hooves in the manner of an earth pony, as a mark of respect for the work they put in to support Equestria and its economy.
Gelato has a unicorn daughter named Biscotto Moka, who is a barista by trade, and works in her mother’s small but cosy restaurant. Her husband, Rivetto Caldo, is a career earth pony steelworker working in construction. They all live together in a beautiful villa on the outskirts of the city,
Gelato is known to be an open and friendly mare, who loves to meet new ponies and people, and enjoys talking with and entertaining customers while at work. Quick to laugh, and slow to anger, she is well liked among the locals- especially when she starts singing and dancing while working, often in her mother tongue.
Additionally, she loves to fuss over children, and considers her close friends as family, treating them as such. Her hospitality skills and abilities are a thing of local legend. Gelato Dolce is well known locally as the Mother Hen of Manehattan, and this is a title that she accepts wholeheartedly.
When it comes to more personal matters, it should go without saying that Gelato is heterosexual, and only has eyes for her beloved husband. She absolutely abhors the idea of cheating on a partner, let alone somepony that you’re married to.
