I don’t see the kind of odd things AI’s like to make. Only a few of the fingers look odd, eyes are normal and none of those weird little addons or lines the AI’s usually like to include. I don’t think it’s AI.
And the odd fingers seem consistent with odd hands and fingers on the other pictures of the artist. Some artists just can’t into hands…
If it IS AI, the artist has done a commendable job cleaning it up and making it consistent with their personal style…

I took the bother to go to Derpibooru & click in the original DeviantArt source link, & this is ambiguous as fuck. On the first hand, this artist has at least a year of experience since the first image uploaded under his artist tag in Derpi is from a year ago; however, on the other hand, looking in his DeviantArt, I found out he has stole art multiple times and upload it as his own. It’s hard to know if he stole this drawnings, if they’re AI made with an excellent edition (DeviantArt is currently flooded with AI art if you don’t use the proper filters), stolen from an unknown artist who doesn’t have a tag or is no longer active, or he made them but he also has a tendency to re-upload foreign art due to unknown motives.

Check the background and if anything lines up. You can always mend the broken hands you get from the AI
