Training alongside Twilight Sparkle, Starlight is a technical fighter who favors submissions. From locking up her opponent’s limbs to escaping submissions herself, Starlight is an expert wrestler capable of taking on the strongest and fastest of ponies and giving them a run for their money. Once she starts working a body part, it’s nearly impossible to get her off without injury.

Starlight lacks experience, leading to her making rookie mistakes, such as trying to match Pinkie Pie’s pace. She’s also something of a glass cannon, not being able to take too many hard hits or slams. She’s also extremely innocent, freezing up when her opponent touches her butt, chest or crotch.
