Another lovely comm of my OT3! Another chance to draw cuteness, a win-win.
Oh for context some asked my headcanon about the appearances of the characters so here I leave the explanation, copy paste cuz Im lazy XD

“In my headcanon Tempest is related to SugarBelle and her hair is very curly but not the same texture as Sugar (I don’t know how to write it in English, in Spanish we use different words for certain types of hair) but due to her lifestyle, excess of cheap gel/straightener and negligence in every way to her person, her hair is quite damaged. Thanks to Twi asking Rarity for her help to teach her how to take better care of her hair, it returned to its almost former glory.
I based it on my mom, she has a type of hair that no one in her family had, it’s not afro but it’s not wavy, it’s like fluffy semi-curly hair and at that time creams and conditioners for her hair type didn’t exist, or they were very expensive, or difficult to find or simply did not know how to take care of this unusual type of hair, the only way to have it was if you got a perm, which my mom was asked a lot, nobody believed it was her natural hair. As a child, she and my grandmother had no choice but to cut her hair very short, because if it was short there was no problem with brushing it. Just in her late 20s my mom found a good hairdresser who brought her hair back to life, and she taught her the products and the correct care for her curly hair”

“Tempest not only has lost her horn in the incident, but also part of her ear and part of her vision is damaged in the eye on the same side, bright lights cause headaches and she must take drops for dryness. Not to mention the phantom pain and the extra caution to avoid getting any fluid in your broken horn as it causes a lot of pain at the root, it’s quick but still hurts (imagine chewing on something ice cold with a cavity but the pain is in your whole head and 10 times worse).
Although there are prosthetics and even if they don’t work like the real horn stil help a little to better locate raw magic, Tempest has some, she uses them from time to time, very occasionally, depents the weather, it’s hard to get used to the sensation.”

“Since Twi is an ascended alicorn, her wings are very magical-like but no magic shows up on the x-rays just the bones (unlike a pure alicorn/pegasus, even those born with health or mobility issues have some magic on their wings)”

“Due to the accident Flash cannot fly with the same grace and speed as he used to (the scars are from the blow to the head, the deep cut on his wing and hind leg, and several extra cuts, not to mention that in some small parts of his wings feathers stopped growing aka molting stress) but thanks to his good health and eath pony genes (the breed with the best health and most resilient bodies, very hard to break bones, quick to recover from anything and excellent immune systems) he can still move with skill (after stretching and exercises because he is not as young as he used to be XD)”

“All pegasi have bird-like markings/colors-patterns, unique to each person.”
