Waterfall Mist & Dusk Clouds are inspired by concept art for Izzy
Wind Spirit & Sunbeam are inspired by concept art for Gen 5 (not sure exactly which pony the concept was for)

Yes, Shimmering Dawn has hair inspired by Sunset, I’ve just always wanted to make a character with similar hair to Sunset and found it worked with her design
