To fill my Youtube posting gap I made this little piece
Also realized I’ve never done a piece showing all my Shimmerverse ships
And for those who don’t know, Shimmerverse is my ponysona storyline/AU. Which will be getting a comic along with Velvetverse & my Next Gen

To give some info to each ship:
Poppy X Blue - I’ve never really had a ship for either of them but they’ve always been BFFs and after a while of thinking on it, I decided that they would be perfect for each other and eventually would grow romantic feelings for eachother
Hazel Skies X Shard - Shard in my AU is a Wonderbolt and a very fast one too. She loves to be up in the air flying free so her falling for a land bound Earth pony was ideal! Having Hazel be the calm to her confidence, her place to relax and let all her frustrations out on. Her comfort pony. Hazel I made solely because I really wanted to make a ship for Shard (and at the same time Diana) to fill up a base I was using and came up with this.
Cinnamon Snow X Diana - He was made with Hazel as the Diana equivalent to Hazel. Diana is a Canterlot born Unicorn, up in the higher ranks of society, like Fleur & Fancy Pants. Obviously on one of her trips back home to see her parents she meets the love of her life, Cinnamon Snow. Both Diana & Cinnamon are more down to Earth and understanding to those in lower ranks than most of the Canterlot ponies. You can say that Cinnamon fell in love with Diana’s soft-hearted nature towards everypony.
Spirit Night X Shycurls - The second longest ship I’ve had with my Ponysonas. Shy’s always had a soft spot for the Brother of one of her besties but never knew if he liked her back. Instead of telling him her feelings she kept them to herself and continued with her brooding exterior (she may look sweet but she’s actually fairly mean and brutally honest when she’s not around Spirit). Spirit on the other hoof adored Shy with his whole heart and Shimmer knew it too. Eventually after years of the two refusing to confess, Shimmer pushed Spirit into it. Resulting in their relationship now.
-Everyone after this has had their relationships before the comic starts (So Shimmer/Dovan & Ginger/Spots)
Shimmer Dust X Dovan - Being a very hopeless romantic when I made Shimmer (AKA my Ponysona) I had to give her what I’ve always wanted, a boyfriend and an older brother. With Spirit filling the brother quota all I needed was a man. Originally, Dovan was going to be more Sheriff Cowboy themed (Take Applejack & Hitch and merge them together). He came with the hat, outfit and boots but after a while I turned him into the bean he is today. Now his biggest change is his name which was originally Dovan Triceratops, but I’ve changed it to Dovan Storm (sounds a lot better but I still refer to him as Triceratops from time to time). Now I’m not gonna spoil how Dovan & Shimmer met or anything with their past as I want that to be for the comic but, I will say that these two are the Yin & Yang of the group. If the other isn’t there something’s not right. They balanced each other out perfectly.
Ginger X Spots - IDEK how to explain these two without giving away the comic. For some backstory, these two were created out of nowhere on this exact base. This is legit a redraw of the first time I drew them. Now they obviously look a little different than they did back then but not much has changed. I’ve solidified their designs & gave Ginger a backstory (being that she’s Rarity’s other sister). Spots still has the same story. He’s the first pony born to two male ponies in Equestria. When he becomes a teenager, his dads take him out to a festival where he meets Ginger, the daughter of his dad’s best friends. He’s heard stories of Ginger and the Rarity family but never met them. At first he’s a normal teenager, not a big fan of romance, but after some time of the two being together and becoming friends they start dating and Spots moves in with Ginger. His main residences is in Ponyville but will move back and forth from Canterlot depending on the time of year (since Ginger lives in Canterlot most of the time due to her job). This is where the Rarity Family picture comes into play. This picture in this piece is actually more from one of those staged photos back before they started dating.
