HQ: Okay agents Harvest and Coldlight listen up; in approximately 1 hour you both will be deployed to investigate an industrial compound just on the outskirts of Canterlot.
You will both receive further instructions when you both land outside the perimeter, however your top priority is to find out what happened our field agents and attempt to secure them for extraction; that is if they are still alive….
After several weeks of very slow progress I finally managed to get this one finished! I started this one back in middle of October and it is now February where I can finally say it is finished, and it wasn’t smooth sailing in places either. I didn’t anticipate that I would be making a fourth part just over 2 years over the original but there we go!
Throughout December I had to put this project on hold due to Christmas commitments and in January a motherboard failure meant I couldn’t progress any further until I sourced a replacement along with new RAM!
In total excluding the delays I reckon this piece took me around 8 weeks all in which is the most amount of time I have ever spent making an piece of art. A large chunk of the time was spent building and modifying assets and I severely underestimated the amount of work that it would take, but I didn’t want to just use all pre-existing assets.
The prison I completely modelled myself, along with the gun holsters and ankle restraints on the prisoners. The bodysuit designs are a result of my long term friend Jdash teaching me a method to stack and map textures within Blender which has opened so many doors for me! Will I make another one, perhaps not but I’ve said that at least twice already…
