A ‘Character Select’ Portrait of Platinum Chalice for my fictional fighting game, Battle Beasts.  
Obsessed with a demon of desire, this pony seeks a way to become worthy of her mistress’ love.
 
When Platinum Chalice had fallen, she had fallen hard… in every sense of the word. She had come face to face with a demon, and in an instant her life had changed forever. While others had tried to flee, and died in the attempt, Platinum had sank to her knees, staring at the otherworldly entity with awe and reverence. The only thing that mattered to her was the exquisite, incomparable beauty standing above her, and she would do anything to serve this demonic goddess. That night, on her knees before a desire demon, the pink pony swore her undying love and loyalty. Yes, Platinum Chalice had fallen hard; in love, and into damnation.  
Her adoration and devotion had been welcomed by the demoness, and she had marked the love-drunk pony as her own, making her an acolyte of desire. To aid her service, Platinum had been given her first demonic blessing - the means to amplify lust and desire in those around her with little more than a touch, the sinful emotions feeding and sustaining her mistress. And so, she had become a seed of corruption, spreading diabolical lust in her wake, but such meagre offerings would never be enough to earn the love of her goddess.  
Since their first meeting, Platinum’s body and soul had ached and throbbed for the demoness - their pact sealed with a night of indescribable pleasure and passion that could never be matched. But it wasn’t just carnal desire. No, Platinum burned with an obsessive love, screaming and hot in her veins, intense enough that it could drive her mad with need. She wanted more than to simply serve. She wanted more than demonic blessings or favour. She wanted more than just another night with her mistress. She wanted her! For eternity!  
Platinum became obsessed with the idea of ‘ascending’, becoming a demoness herself - an immortal, unfading being, powerful beyond measure - then, free of her mortal form, she could truly devote herself to her love forever. She would show her mistress she was worthy, she would show the demoness who haunted her every thought and breath that she was the only one fit to stand at her side. Yes, Platinum would prove herself and become her mistress’ one and only. Her slave, her lover. Her bride.  
To that end, Platinum had set her masterplan into motion, travelling to a remote monastery. She had sought sanctuary in the holy walls, and was welcomed by the sisterhood of nuns who dwelt there. It was perfect. Dozens of sweet, pure, holy maidens, safe in their bastion of light and goodness. This would be no small offering. Platinum had spun her tale well, and was welcomed to join the sisterhood, and for the next several months, she slowly, and subtly spread her poison. The grounds were gradually deconsecrated, all the while, the sisters began to succumb to the demonic lust that permeated their once holy place. One or two nuns at first, then six, a dozen… secretive, lust-fuelled rendezvous as purity turned to corruption, and Platinum knew she had succeeded. When the entire sisterhood had been driven into open animal desire and unrestrained pleasure, they saw Platinum as their prophet, a harbinger bringing forth their diabolic enlightenment. However, the pink pony didn’t desire their worship, and with her work concluded, she summoned forth her mistress to make her ultimate offering.  
To say that the desire demon was ecstatic with Platinum’s work was an understatement - a corrupted monastery and dozens of fallen maidens was no small feat. Gorging herself on the gift, the demoness was prepared to bless Platinum again, asking her faithful acolyte what she most desired. This was it! The moment Platinum’s dreams would be realised… But it was not to be. Her mistress, her beautiful, perfect goddess, claimed she was incapable of raising a mortal to demonhood. And Platinum was crushed.  
Her dreams sundered, the love-drunk pony spent weeks at the monastery, unsure what to do. There had to be a way. She had to ascend! She couldn’t bare the thought of her goddess finding more acolytes, others who might take her place, others who might know secrets she didn’t and could ascend to usurp her place as the goddess’ bride. The rage that filled her at the thought could have murdered the world, and despite the efforts of her ‘followers’ to please and placate her, Platinum was losing herself in a wash of love, obsession, jealousy and fury. Until word of the Battle Beast tournament reached the monastery.  
Hope was rekindled! In sheer, blissful joy, Platinum allowed herself to sink into unrestrained pleasure with the corrupted sisterhood for the first time in weeks, and the once hallowed halls echoed with debauchery and desire. Rising, restored and cleansed of her anger, the seed of corruption clad herself in a mockery of her holy robes, and departed for the tournament. She would win and claim the wish for herself, and finally her dream would come true. She would return baptised in darkness, a true prophet of their goddess, a full-blooded desire demon, and then, she would take her rightful place beside her mistress. She would become her bride, and the world would writhe and moan and gasp and scream, enraptured and envious of their eternal union. What a blessing it would be…
