Graciela is a middle-aged female Griffon from Griffinstone and the divorced mother of Gavin. Graciela is always nearly portrayed as either absent-minded or a bit air-headed, not understanding the most simple, obvious things. Though she can be absent-minded, she deeply cares about her friends and child, and would never let them down. She is very pretty and down-to-earth. She loves her son and the two have a good relationship, although sometimes, Gavin is the one who ends up acting as the parent. When she and her ex-husband were married, they seemed to care for each other, although their relationship also seemed to be rather rocky. Although his parents got a divorce when he was 8, ironically, Gavin can’t really remember his dad. After their divorce, she began to dislike him and described him to her son as a “low-life” and “nogriff special” whenever he asked her about him. But, regardless of what his mom thinks, Gavin wishes he had gotten to know him. After having a talk with Grandpa Gruff, Gavin was able to see things from a slightly different perspective, and declared that, no matter what, he will always be grateful for his father for being around when he did, even if he did leave him and his mom.
