While the blast from the Elements of Harmony only limited Nightmare Moon’s mobility– Luna on the other hand went into a deep slumber. Nightmare Moon watched over Luna quietly and waited patiently until the day they could both come home. Luna was in a constant dazed stupor for a thousand years. It was a nightmare you couldn’t escape from, a constant state of fear that immobilized you. Each day was unclear and indistinguishable from the last, but in those brief moments of consciousness Luna knew that one day she would have to face reality. And before she could muster enough strength to open her eyes she fell back to sleep through Nightmare Moon’s magic.
