Original Description:
It hasn’t been very long since Sunny loss her father and during that time, she’s been grieving for him, but also dealing with the trauma she saw. Well, one day, Sunny, Hitch, and Sprout hang out at the local playground to get fresh air and try to forget about what happened for a temporary time. They were having fun at the park until Posey and her friends walk up to them, and Posey disses to Sunny about Argyle, calling him a freak and that he deserved to die. She also claimed that Argyle wanted to threaten Maretime Bay with the unicorns and pegasi. All of this upsets Sunny and she starts to cry, telling Posey and her friends to go somewhere else. Before Posey left, she gives Sunny a scowling look and then leaves. Sunny left there standing and crying.
For confusion in the comments, this is an alternate universe. I know that in canon Posey was just annoyed by the magic and how it got in the way of things. This is not canon and never will. At this time period in my AU, ponies were still brainwashed by Phyllis Cloverleaf’s anti unicorn and pegasus propaganda. Posey was just a child here and is only acting out here because of Sunny and her dad having beliefs that unicorns and pegasi are good despite being taught that unicorns and pegasi are a danger to Earth Ponies. Here, Argyle just died and Posey is simply telling Sunny how Argyle was a freak and all. I’m not going to explain much detail, but Phyllis has told every pony about some rumors and that Argyle was being ignorant to try to reunite ponies again, but the attempt got him killed and that was evidence that unicorns and pegasi are practically monsters.
This basically is what happens in my AU, nothing more. But like canon, ponies are divided, but unlike to canon though, some things from the racist propaganda have some truth, the only difference, it didn’t happen in the way ponies think, it’s much more complicated than that. I will not answer to any of your questions about what, this is a work in progress.
