{NextGen}~ Dash NG Updated  
Haven’t done next gen stuff in over a year, oof. But here is an updated version of my next gen for Dash. My story of her was all over the place with the timeline. So, here is an updated version of this one, and updated some character design.  
{Next gen}~ Rainbow Dash Kids by PurpleGrim40  

1. Everest Dash and Typhoon Dash are the twin childs from Dash and Soarin. Dash was two month pregnant when she divorced Soarin because of his affair with Lightning Dust. Everest and Typhoon were born after the divorce, and later on were adopted by Thunderlane when they were kids. Both kids know Thunderlane is not their biological father but nonetheless they love him for raising them. They however do know who their biological dad is, and they are not too happy to meet him soon.  
2. I have updated Clear Skies design and color palette to match with her family colors. Clear Skies was born a year after Dash and Thunderlane got married. Most probably when her two oldest brothers were 4 or 5.  
3. During and after the divorce, Dash was diagnosed with severe depression, and with her pregnancy symptoms, everypony was worried for her. Spitfire was most worried for her, as she had never seen Dash this bad. She wanted to let Dash off for a time so she could recover, but Dash pleaded with her as being active was what Dash was known for. Not wanting to cause more heartbreak to Dash, she asked around for a proper job for a pregnant pegasus. Eventually a school in Cloudsdale called and said they could take in Dash as a P.E teacher for fillies and foals, and Spitfire persuaded Dash to accept. And it was not that bad, as 4 months went by and her belly grew, it was a job she could handle pretty well. All she was glad for was to be somewhat active. One day, the school had scheduled for Wonderbolts to come and socialize with the kids, and Thunderlane was amongst them. Dash and Thunderlane eventually got to talking, Thunder having heard about what happened between Dash and Soarin, and noticing her round belly. Thunderlane was what Dash needed, someone who could have some patience with her, be sweet, and she was forever grateful he didn’t mind her having mood swings. Even after she gave birth to her twins, Thunderlane remained by her side. He helped her settling in her home and giving her company. When the twins were 3 years old, Dash couldn’t help but fall smitten with the small lovely details. Her kids would follow Thunder around the house like small ducks trailing after their parent, them cuddling on Thunder’s wings when it was nap time, and how happy they would act when Thunderlane would come by. It was as if Thunder had read her mind, and he approached her softly, asking if maybe, possible she would give him a chance to date her. Dash was a little shocked, yes she knew Thunderlane was comfortable around her kids, but to be sort of a step father? She never though about it or thought he would mind it. Mind him raising kids that were not his. And so Dash and Thunder started dating, and eventually got married.  
   I wanted to draw this ship and ended up spilling the backstory I created for them lol.
