A large commission for my friend :iconnuclearzeon2: - thank you for your huge support. :D
 
This commission was an interesting one to draw, and I honestly can really see where the idea behind it came from - Charlie and Pim from Smiling Friends trying desperately to avoid falling into a pit called ‘The Entitled Fandom Pit’ - characters that are from franchises that have fallen victim to toxic ‘fans’ who spout so much bile about certain shows it honestly makes you wonder whether they even like the series to begin with - there is a BIG difference between being critical of a show that you like where you can enjoy it in spite of flaws you find in it, and pretending to be a fan of a show you hate, and from horror stories I’ve looked up online of some of these franchises along with others, I can say that I’ve witnessed that myself. :fear: (The Steven Universe, Undertale and Danganronpa ‘fan’ vitriol online are examples I can bring to the table as well as I’ve personally seen a lot of things going on with a handful of people in those fandoms….. :ohnoes: )
 
While these instances are thankfully a vocal minority and I’m not naming anyone in particular, the ones I recognise have had a ton of instances I’ve come across and have heard of where I feel like they need to be called out (and there are some I’ve commented on in the past myself from some of these ‘fans’ too.) The picture is symbolising how Smiling Friends has only had one season and hasn’t yet experienced as many toxic fan moments as the other shows, but there’s sadly a chance it could happen like with many fandoms. :(
