My concept of Queen Chrysalis, I took inspiration from a wasp like design. She always reminded me of a wasp, with her ridged design, and saddle that could cinch off her waste, leaving that wasp-like appearance. In particular, she reminds me of a blue mud wasp. I decided to draw her flirtatious appearance, giving her the kind of sexy yet evil appearance. She looks somewhat reformed but I swear she’s not.
