At the end of Chapter 3, everyone was sent down a rushing river that drained them out into a cave, but Spike was too fat to fit in the hole so it separated him, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Mrs. Cake from the kids. Dash is trying to pull him out now, but she’s the only one who can fly and Spike isn’t budging. Spike feels bad, but he remembers his belly worked as a shield to protect Flurry against General Scutellum.
