Aurora the bookworm  
Aurora is the bookworm of the Desendents of Harmony Generation, even as a little filly she had her nose stuffed in the newest mystery, thriller, or fantasy novel. She is good friends with the Canterlot Librarian, Victoria Pageturner. She is a grandmother figure to Aurora. She met Victoria on one of her “sneakouts” as a filly. Midnight would help her sneak out in Canterlot Castle every once in a while so she could go and see the town. For a major part of growing up, Aurora didn’t get much chance to leave the castle. She to the library one night, as the new Bolt Warrior novel had just arrived and she wanted to be the first to read it. She tried to sneak out with the book but was caught by Victoria. The elder helped her settle down and let her take it as long as she promised to bring it back as soon as possible. Aurora snuck out even more after that. Borrowing books all the time until she read every one in the Canterlot Library. Then she began reading books Victoria had brought back from her old traveling days. The two still trade books but now Aurora checks them out now that she can leave the castle whenever she wants to.  
Aurora wasn’t changed into an alicorn after being born, Speed Wing convinced Queen Sombra to wait until she could decide if she wanted wings or not. At 17 she said yes and was transformed into an alicorn.
