“Somnambula rolled over on to her side and smiled at her visitor. From a nearby open window the curtains swayed and flapped as a cool evening breeze drifted in. She batted her eyes and then spoke.  
“While it is true the sun makes the desert days blazingly hot. The desert nights can be equally frigid.”  
Gracefully she lifted her left wing. “So. Do you have a place to stay tonight?”  
A reoccurring character in the later seasons of Friendship is Magic was the pegasus mare Somnambula. Link Fortunately she was not like many guest characters who only got one appearance and were never seen again.”
