Home Defense is often a pony of few words but I don’t think he could help himself from speaking up to tell RT what a worry she had been whilst she was away. I think he came in to speak to her all guns blazing to scold her for not keeping in touch, but once he saw her guilty face he just couldn’t and just felt an overwhelming love for the mare, in a platonic friend sort of way mind you. RT hates making ponies worry about her for any reason and often keeps her worries to herself as to not trouble anypony, but then she ends up bursting at the seams trying to keep everything bottled up, which was one of the main causes of her prolonged absence. If I know Home Defense he will give her a huge hug and treat her to a treacle sundae and clotted cream scone.
I sure wish I had a friend like Home Defense who cares about me that much. -RainbowTashie
