In my headcannon, we see this; including flashbacks when Scootaloo rants to Twylight, Applejack, Rarity, and Pinkie for using her and others in the Marer Do Well and Walking Dead hoaxes, arranging the idol lesson to use Rainbow’s parents and her against her sister, arranging for Rainbow’s ‘student’s in Ghastly Gorge and the dragon, setting her up in the competitions, and using Rainbow in the cheerleading incident.
Also in my headcannon, Rainbow and Tank do this for students including the Gen 4 one’s kids and the Gen 5 ones. I see Rainbow being the awesome mom who teaches martial arts and encourages to help any who be sad or afraid.
