You slide out of your seat, and approach the bored-looking mare, an off white-coated pegasus with a green and pink mane. She doesn’t seem to notice you at first, her head lazily propped up on a hoof, half-lidded light blue eyes lost in a daydream.
 
You softly clear your throat to get her attention. Her ear twitches, then she turns her head to meet you with a puzzled expression. You greet her with your friendliest smile, and introduce yourself.
 
Once she realizes that you are just making conversation, she returns a smile of her own, and pushes herself up into a more proper sitting position.
 
Mare: “Oh, uh, hi. I’m Blossomforth. Nice to meet you.”
 
You tell Blossomforth that she looks like she could use somepony to chat with to pass the time. Since your own friends are busy at the moment, you ask if you can sit with her.
 
Blossomforth: “Sure. I’ll be here all day.”
 
When she gestures to the spot next to her, you thank her, and gladly hop into it. You begin by asking her about herself.
 
Blossomforth: “Honestly, I’m not sure where to start. Why don’t you go ahead?”
 
You nod, and take the lead. You tell Blossomforth that you are an explorer from Hoofington, and briefly recount that you and your friends went seafaring from Amblerta.
 
Blossomforth: “Really? That sounds exciting. So you’re from Hoofington, that small town south of the Everfree Forest? I hear Princess Celestia is going to attend the Autumn Festival this year.”
 
You nod, and say that you are on your way back home. With enough luck, you’ll make it back in time to enjoy the festival yourself.
 
Blossomforth: “I bet you will. As for me, well, I’m from Ponyville. I’m part of the weather control team there, and I spend most days helping my friends with their gardens.
 
Actually, I came to Coltswell to get some seeds for them. A lot of mountain flowers from this region do well in the fall, and the season is just around the corner, so I thought it would make a nice gift.”
 
You remark that it is thoughtful of her, then ask if any of her friends came along with her, or if she is travelling by her lonesome.
 
Blossomforth: “Oh, it’s just me. Not that I mind, really — it feels nice having some time to myself every once in a while, to go wherever my wings take me. Well, when I’m not confined to a train, that is.”
